About the World Ensembles at MPP
The Music Performance Program at Columbia University offers a selection of world music ensembles in Arab Music, Bluegrass, Japanese Gagaku & Hogaku, Klezmer and Latin American Music. Music lessons in bluegrass guitar only are also offered. Students in World ensembles are offered the opportunity to learn and perform unique instruments and music, some that are extremely rare in the United States.
