 Come join us in the Garden Room at Faculty House, where Students and Music Associates from Columbia University's Music Performance Program will be showcased in a noontime recital series.

BIOGRAPHY

Bandleader, saxophonist, composer and arranger Kira Daglio Fine grew up in Lexington, MA and is currently a sophomore in Columbia College studying Mathematics and Jazz Studies. She has won numerous awards and scholarships at competitions such as Essentially Ellington, the Charles Mingus High School Competition, and the Berklee High School Jazz Festival. Kiracurrently plays in an MPP jazz ensemble and is the founder and student leader of the big band at Columbia, while also performing regularly with her own groups throughout New York City and Greater Boston.


All events are sponsored by Columbia University's Music Performance Program and are free and open to the public.

 Mid-Day Music @ Columbia offers live music to a general audience, following the tradition established by Aaron Warner and Isidor Isaac Rabi, great lovers of music whose memories live on at Faculty House.
