The Columbia University Orchestra (CUO) is thrilled to welcome audiences back to Symphony Space and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center!
Our Symphony Space concert is on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 7:30pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
Our Alice Tully Hall concert is on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 7:30pm. 100 free tickets will be left at will-call for Columbia and Barnard students with their CU-ID. Tickets are first-come, first-served.
The program will begin with John Adams' Doctor Atomic Symphony. The program continues with Henri Dutilleux's Sonatine for Flute and Orchestra, arranged by Kenneth Hesketh and featuring solo flutist Anthony Lee. After a brief intermission, the orchestra will conclude the program with Béla Bartók's Suite from The Miraculous Mandarin.
We hope MPP students and their friends come out in support of CUO for an evening of Adams, Dutilleux, and Bartók!
