BIOgraphies

Born in Lexington, Massachusetts, Evan has been studying piano and writing music since he was five years old, when he got jealous of his older brothers’ music lessons. He discovered jazz in middle school and quickly developed a passion for it. In high school, he traveled to national jazz festivals with his school’s bands, and won performance and soloist awards from Berklee, Manhattan School of Music, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Now a junior studying computer science, his interests have broadened to include programming and music production, but mostly he’s still just trying to impress his brothers.

Jack Aylor is a freshman in Columbia College from Nashville, TN. He began playing bass during his sophomore year of high school and now studies privately with Ugonna Okegwo. He plans on majoring in English.
