Join us for a senior recital featuring the incredible pianist and Columbia College senior, Bella Berman, on May 3rd at 2 PM at the Italian Academy.
Bella Berman is a pianist from Chicago, Illinois, currently studying with Inesa Sinkevych, and completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Medical Humanities at Columbia University. She began learning piano at age 5 with Olga Ridgway, and pursued her musical studies further throughout high school at Alice S. Pfaelzer Conservatory at the Merit School of Music. Bella has performed at venues throughout New York, including Carnegie Hall and the Kaufman Music Center and throughout Illinois, such as the Harris Theater, Harold Washington Library, and PianoForte. She has additionally performed nationally and internationally at Philadelphia Young Pianists’ Academy, Amalfi Coast Music and Arts Festival, the Gijón International Piano Festival, the Cremona International Music Academy and Festival, Pianists in the Mountains, the Zodiac Music Academy and Festival in France, the Interlochen Center for the Arts, the Intermuse International Music Institute and Festival, and the Orfeo Music Festival in Italy. In addition to working as a piano teacher, accompanist, and theory tutor, she volunteers at local public schools through the Musical Mentors Collaborative and Artists Reaching Out.
