Columbia pays Tribute to Sergei Prokofiev, celebrating the centennial of Prokofiev's first concert in New York City. A concert dedicated to Prokofiev's works and featuring winners of a live audition, will be held at Columbia University's Italian Academy on Friday, April 13, 2018.
Auditions are open to registered MPP students in good standing.
Requirement: an excerpt from any chamber or solo work by Sergei Prokofiev.
Winners will have the opportunity to perfom at the Italian Academy on April 13, 2018.
Audition date: Friday, November 17, 2017, 3-5 PM (NOT 4-6) at 716 Hamilton.
Sign-up sheet for 10-minute slots will be available on the MPP website on November 1, 2017.
